PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search and screen a lactobacillus which has a high lactic fermentation ability and can inhibit injurious microorganisms in an environment on the preparation of silage such as rice plant-fermented crude feed, and to provide a technique for adding the lactobacillus to silage material grasses to prepare the high quality rice plant-fermented crude feed. PSOLUTION: This lactobacillus having excellent acid resistance and an excellent lactic fermentation ability: Lactobacillus plantarum 1 strain (FERM P-18930). The lactobacillus having antibacterial actions against aerobic bacteria and butyric acid bacteria: Lactococcus lactis RO50 strain (FERM P-18931). The microorganism preparation for preparing silage contains the lactobacillus. The method for preparing the silage is characterized by adding the microorganism preparation to silage material grasses.
