PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interruption controller and an interruption control method for setting priority of interruption requests generated by a plurality of interruption generation sources for solving that a processing of an interruption request having higher priority generated by an upstream side VIC (vector interruption controller) is blocked by an interruption request with lower priority of a downstream side VIC of a plurality of daisy chain connected vector interruption controllers. PSOLUTION: The VIC including an interruption generation source interface which can be operated so as to receive the interruption requests generated by a plurality of first interruption generation sources and a daisy chain interface which can be operated so as to receive a daisy chain interruption request outputted from another daisy chain connected VIC generated by a plurality of second interruption generation sources, is prepared, the priority of the interruption requests from the interruption generation sources directly connected with the VIC is compared with the priority of the interruption request from a daisy chain connected interruption generation source and the interruption request having the higher priority is propagated to the downstream side VIC.
