PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a family entertainment video system for cars.;SOLUTION: The family entertainment video system for cars integrated within a console unit comprises a console housing lid hinged to a console base at one end of a console base to form a first space. The console housing lid includes a base plate and a cover plate hingedly attached at one lid end, and the base plate and the cover plate form a second space when in a closed configuration. A multi-media device is fitted to the base plate in the second space for providing multi-media program signals. A video screen module is hingedly attached to the base plate for swinging out from the second space to a viewable position, and for swinging back from the viewing position to the storage position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
