PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condensed heterocyclic derivative developing excellent human SGLT activity-inhibiting action and useful as a prophylactic or therapeutic agent for diseases caused by hyperglycemia, e.g. diabetes mellitus, hyperglycemia after eating, impaired glucose tolerance, diabetic complication and obesity. PSOLUTION: The present invention provides a compound represented by formula (1) [wherein RSP1/SPis H, a halogen, OH or the like; RSP2/SPis H, a halogen or an alkyl; R3 and R4 are each H, OH, a halogen or the like; Q is an alkylene or the like; the ring A is an aryl or a heteroaryl; G is a group represented by formula (G1) or formula (G2)], its pharmacologically acceptable salt and their prodrugs.
