PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which can express a design exhibiting a fine uneven pattern about the surface protection layer of the surface of an insert molding, prevent the dislocation between the uneven pattern of the surface protection layer and the pattern of a decorative layer to synchronize with the uneven pattern, and to obtain the insert molding at low cost. PSOLUTION: In a process for manufacturing an insert sheet, a laminate in which at least the surface protection layer of an uncured ionizing radiation curable resin is formed on one side of a transparent or translucent substrate sheet and a shaping mold having minute unevenness on the surface are used and arranged so that the surface on the surface protection layer side of the laminate faces the minutely uneven surface of the shaping mold. The surface on the surface protection layer side of the laminate is shaped by the minute unevenness of the shaping mold by heating pressure. After that, the surface protection layer having the fine uneven pattern is cured by being irradiated with ionizing radiation, and at least the decorative layer having the pattern to synchronize with the uneven pattern is formed on the surface on the substrate sheet side of the laminate.
