PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery charger for a mobile telephone set with an advertising distribution/registration/display function in which a cellular phone is charged and simultaneously, advertising information can be distributed, registered or displayed.;SOLUTION: The battery charger is connected to an external connecting terminal of the mobile telephone set for charging the cellular phone and starts charging. When charging is started, at the same time, a macro command is issued from the external connecting terminal of the cellular phone to the mobile telephone set to automatically operate the mobile telephone set, and an advertising information mail registered in advance is distributed to a mail address of the connected cellular phone. Otherwise, a name, a telephone number and the mail address registered in advance are registered in a telephone directory of the connected mobile telephone set.
