PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output stage of the driver which reduces a propagation delay while maintaining good signal integrity.;SOLUTION: The output driver includes a predriver coupled to a complementary MOS transistor pair. Third and fourth MOS transistors are coupled between source-drain paths of the first and second MOS transistors, respectively and an output. A back gate of at least one of the third and fourth MOS transistors is coupled to the output to provide a lower VT at the beginning of a transition without creating excessive undershoot or overshoot.
