PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mountain information distribution system available not only for a meteorological information distribution service but also for various information distribution services and capable of interactive communication between an ASP and a user (climber).;SOLUTION: An Internet terminal 1 is arranged in a hut, while a server 3 accumulating information from the hut and a terminal 4 are arranged in the ASP. The user such as the climber carries a portable terminal 5. From the terminal 1 in the hut, information about weather, temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, and so on around the hut is transmitted to the server 3 of the ASP, and the ASP edits these pieces of information for the climber. The climber needs no active connection to a Web during the climbing period, as the weather information and the like is periodically distributed to the portable terminal 5 of the climber from the terminal 4 of the ASP by E-mail.
