PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three dimensional image display apparatus capable of displaying a more natural three-dimensional image by reflecting an illumination condition for an actual space. PSOLUTION: A plurality of light direction detectors are provided on an image display screen, and an illumination position in a real space is detected. These pieces of information are added to three-dimensional image data to be displayed, and shading is added to a displayed object in the displayed image. Illumination conditions in an actual space are measured, and illumination conditions at a displayed position for the three-dimensional image can be reflected on the brightness of the three-dimensional image, reflection, and a position of a shade.
