PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device to evaluate exercise tolerance intensity on an exercising object from characteristics of a non-invasively detected pulse wave or an electrocardiogram. PSOLUTION: The exercise tolerance intensity evaluating device 10 is worn by the exercising object and has a pulse wave detecting part 60 to non-invasively detect a pulse wave in the periphery, an ejection duration calculating part 90 to measure ejection duration ED from characteristics (for instance, dictrotic notch) of a pulse wave reflecting ejection duration of the heart based on the detected pulse wave, and an ejection duration variation detecting part 100 to detect variation of ejection duration ED measured by the ejection duration calculating part 90 at every unit time and inputted.
