PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device that shortens time for recovery from a standby mode and extends the duration of a battery by reducing power consumption in the standby mode. PSOLUTION: The information processor comprises a power supply control unit 2 for controlling power supply to each device in a standby mode, and a power supply switching unit 10 for switching supply and cutoff of source power to each device 1, 5, 6, 8, 9 according to an instruction from the power supply control unit 2. Upon detection of a start of the standby mode, after contents of registers 1b, 5a and 6b and a frame buffer 6a are stored in a storage circuit 7, power supply to the peripheral device 8 and the display device 9 is stopped, and then power supply to the main control unit 1 except for GPIO 1a, the peripheral device control circuit 5 and the display control circuit 6 is stopped.
