PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production facility control device capable of automatically performing a setting work without requiring manual work. PSOLUTION: This control device 2 is installed to control a production facility through a network 1. This control device 2 is constituted of a network connection means 9 allocated to connect with the network 1; a service means 5 executing a prescribed processing program on the basis of fetched data; an own service distribution means 6 for transmitting one or more of at least its own IP address and port number, its unique identification number, and its unique identification name in a fixed period; a universal service connecting means 8 for performing input and output of data to the other production facility control device 2 through the network 1; and an other service searching means 7 for retrieving data of the other production facility control device 2 through the network 1. As the communication method between the own service distribution means 6 of the other production facility control device 2 and the other service searching means 7 through the network 1, a multi-cast communication is applied, and as the communication method between the universal service connection means 8, uni-cast communication is applied.
