PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high heat insulation coating material cutting protection tube for a hot-water supply/drain pipe, improved in safety for protecting the hot-water supply/drain pipe and in execution efficiency when cutting the high heat insulation coating material coating the hot-water supply/drain pipe used for such as a floor heater, and to provide a cutting method for the high heat insulation coating material by using the high heat insulation coating material cutting protection tube.;SOLUTION: An end part of the high heat insulation coating material 2 is cut after a protection sleeve 1 is inserted into a high heat insulated paired tubes with the hot water supply/drain tube coated with the high insulation coating material 2. The protection sleeve 1 has an inner diameter larger than or equal to an outer diameter of the hot-water supply/drain tube and an outer diameter smaller than or equal to an inner diameter of the high heat insulation coating material 2, and is made of hard material such as stainless steel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
