WOODEN CONCRETE-BASED STRUCTURE, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR AND WOODEN CONCRETE-BASED PAVEMENT

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the temperature control action in a pavement surface by increasing the water retaining capacity in a surface layer. PSOLUTION: In the production or installing of the wooden concrete-based pavement, tannin contained in sawdust is beforehand removed from the sawdust (step 101), the sawdust subjected to the tannin removal treatment is mixed with cement and water to produce a mixture (step 102). As the sawdust, e.g. the one produced on chipping a wooden waste material or the one produced on precutting a framework member for housing such as a column and a beam in a factory can be used. Then, the mixture obtained in the mixing stage is kneaded, e.g. with a mixer for concrete so as to make a kneaded material (step 103). Finally, the kneaded material is carried into the job site, and is thereafter hardened to form a structure consisting of woody mortar or woody concrete (step 104). PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
