PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disc device with track-jumping performance and focus-jumping performance which are stable with respect to variations in the track pitch and thickness of base material.;SOLUTION: In track jumping, an acceleration/deceleration pulse generating part 112 measures TE signal amplitude during the jumping, varies the acceleration/deceleration time for the acceleration/deceleration pulse according to the measured amplitude and drives a tracking actuator.
