PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ovicide having excellent ovicidal effect on eggs of noxious insects in clothing, to provide an ovicidal method, and to obtain a thermally-transpiring aqueous insecticide of liquid absorption type. PSOLUTION: The ovicide to the eggs of the noxious insects in the clothing contains one, two or more kinds of glycol etheres selected from the group consisting of propylene glycol monopropyl ether, propylene glycol monobutyl ether, dipropylene glycol monopropyl ether, dipropylene glycol monobutyl ether, dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether, ethylene glycol monoisobutyl ether, diethylene glycol monoisobutyl ether, diethylene glycol dibutyl ether, diethylene glycol dimethyl ether, and triethylene glycol dimethyl ether.
