PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform division and phacoemulsification and aspiration by a simple technique in a short time, for both the hard nucleus lentis which is hard to be divided with conventional supersonic chip and each division hook, and the nucleus which can be divided by the conventional circular supersonic chip, in phacoemulsification and aspiration in ophthalmology.;SOLUTION: A conventional supersonic chip is arranged so that the tip part has the plate-like shape for 10 mm from the top end of the chip. The length of an inner diameter on a shorter side is 0.1 mm to 0.7 mm. Length of the longer side is determined by that of shorter side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
