PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prestress force introducing method for solving a problem with a mechanical prestress force introducing method for a steel concrete composite structure using a PC steel wire and a PC steel bar.;SOLUTION: When constructing the steel concrete composite structure, a prescribed temperature is given to a steel shell under temperature control and concrete is installed to cover the steel shell. After the concrete has hardened, the temperature control is ended. As a result, the steel shell thermally contracts and expands, giving a prestress force to the section of the steel concrete composite structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
