PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device that enables an operation depending on circumstances by a simple procedure by accurately predicting a necessary operation in current circumstances.;SOLUTION: A circumstance/operation storage part 3 relationally stores circumstance information about operations acquired by a circumstance acquisition part 1 and corresponding operation information from an operation part 2. A circumstance collation part 4 collates current circumstance information and the circumstance information stored in the circumstance/operation storage part 3, and according to circumstance information stored in hierarchical structure, a circumstance/hierarchy storage part 5 searches for a superordinate concept common to the two types of circumstance information collated by the circumstance collation part 4. If the search by the circumstance/hierarchy storage part 5 finds that the current circumstance information and the circumstance information stored in the circumstance/operation storage part 3 have the same superordinate concept, an operation adaptation part 6 adapts an operation procedure corresponding to the operation information stored in the circumstance/operation storage part 3 to the current circumstances, and a presentation/selection part 7 executes the operation procedure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
