ANTIBACTERIAL MEDICINE KNOWLEDGE BASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for managing the availability of an antibacterial medicine based on the result of a bacteriological examination so that it is made into a state reflecting a newest clinical effect.;SOLUTION: A knowledge data base 200 stores a priority index indicating that the antibacterial medicine should be preferentially selected to a pathogenic microbe by every name of infections, every name of the pathogenic microbes to be a cause of the infection and every name of applicable antibacterial medicines. A case data base 300 stores the names of pathogenic microbes, the names of infections, the names of infections, names of the prescribed antibacterial medicines and the outcome information of the infection after prescription about each case. A knowledge data base reading part 107 reads the priority index of the antibacterial medicine from the knowledge data base 200 about the selected name of infection and the name of pathogenic microbe. A case data reading part 104 reads case data regarding the selected infection and the pathogenic microbe from the case data base 300.
