PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-strength and high thermal expansion austenitic stainless steel excellent in high-temperature settling resistance and corrosion resistance, and to provide its manufacturing method.;SOLUTION: This high-strength and high thermal expansion austenitic stainless steel has a composition consisting of 0.10-0.30 wt.% C, ≤ 3.0 wt.% Si, ≤ 3.0wt.% Mn, 5.0-12.0 wt.% Ni, 18.0-30.0 wt.% Cr, and 0.05-0.30 wt.% N, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
