PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forgeable alloy with highly composite corrosion resistance against sulfuric acid and "wet-treated" phosphoric acid.;SOLUTION: This alloy has a composition consisting of, by weight, 30.0-35.0% chromium, 5.0-7.6% molybdenum, 1.6-2.9% copper, max. 1.0% manganese, max. 0.4% aluminum, max. 0.6% silicon, max. 0.06% carbon, max. 0.13% nitrogen, max. 5.1% iron, max. 5.0% cobalt, and the balance nickel with inevitable impurities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
