PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and appropriately detect an engaged state and assure an engagement work.;SOLUTION: Judgement of locking (step S8) of a connector 4 to the engaging member is performed by using a locking sound and a position of the connector 4 locking a member to be locked, namely, a locking work position (existing position of a work). By the above, for example, in comparison with the case of judging the locking by using the locking sound only, the locking of the connector 4 carried out in compliance with the work procedures can be assured more steadily and with higher accuracy. Furthermore, since the engagement state is detected by using the locking sound, and the engagement state can be detected with high accuracy, such a misjudgement that the connector 4 is locked in half engagement state can be avoided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
