PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new agent for effectively controlling Coleopteran insect larvae with high safety to humans and livestock, and to provide a method of controlling such insect larvae using the agent.;SOLUTION: The controlling agent for Coleopteran insect larvae is characterised by containing a cyclodextrin as an active ingredient.
