IMPREGNATION MATERIAL FOR ADSORBING CONTAMINANT, AND IMPREGNATION PROCESS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impregnation material for adsorbing contaminants which adsorbs and fixes harmful contaminants such as heavy metals, and to provide an impregnation process therefor.;SOLUTION: The impregnation material for adsorbing contaminants is obtained by mixing a first liquid containing blast furnace slag and artificial zeolite with a second liquid comprising silicic acid. The content of the artificial zeolite relative to the blast furnace slag is 30 to 40 wt.%, and the first liquid further comprises lime. The impregnation process includes a stage where the first liquid and the second liquid are mixed to prepare the impregnation material for adsorbing contaminants, and a stage where the impregnation material is fed under pressure by using an impregnation tube and is impregnated into soil.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
