METHOD FOR RAISING SEEDLING OF PLANT OF BULBS AND METHOD FOR TRANSPLANTATION AND CULTIVATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for raising seedlings of a bulbous plant, by which microtubers of less than 0.5g small grains are naturally used, excellent growth and development after transplantation are guaranteed and troubles after transplantation are effectively dealt with.;SOLUTION: Culture soil is packed into a seedling box obtained by developing an assembly of a continuous paper tube in a honeycomb state and finishing the assembly, microtubers having 0.1-1.0 g, preferably 0.1-0.5 g one grain size are sowed in the culture soil in each paper tube and covered with soil. Then the seedling box is transferred to a greenhouse, the seedlings of the bulbous plant are raised for a fixed period of time, the seedlings of the bulbous plant in the paper tube together with the paper tube or the seedlings in an uncovered state after the removal of the paper tube are transplanted into a field by using a proper transplanter and cultivated for a proper period while manuring and weeding.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
