PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a stress when the off-set of a belt is controlled, prevent the off-set and damage of the belt with a very simple structure, and effectively avoid secondary troubles such as meandering.;SOLUTION: In this belt conveying device, an endless belt 1 is stretched across a plurality of tensely installed rolls 2 (for example, 2a to 2d) and the belt 1 circulatingly conveys loads. An elastic belt is used as the belt 1. The apparatus also comprises a guide member 3 coming into contact, from the inside, with a belt end ear part 4 extruded from one end of the tensely installed rolls 2, disposed only on the upstream side of the tensely installed rolls 2 in the belt conveying direction, and controlling the belt end ear part 4 by raising in a direction for resisting a naturally tilted state.
