PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oligonucleotide specific to bacteria of the genus Bacillus, capable of knowing a systematic position of the bacterium of the genus Bacillus based on 16SrRNA gene and enabling rapid identification of bacterial strains newly isolated hereafter and to provide a method for detecting/determining bacterial series/bacterial group of the bacterium of the genus Bacillus.;SOLUTION: The oligonucleotide is designed so as to target a nucleotide sequence encoding 16SrRNA gene of the bacterium of the genus Bacillus which exists in a specimen and be complementary to the nucleotide sequence and the nucleotide is at least one of sequence groups: 5'-ATGTTAGCGGCGGACGGGTGAC-3' (a), 5'-GGGTCATTGGAAACTGGGAAC-3' (b) and 5'-AAGTTCCCCAGTTTCCAAGACCC-3' (c).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
