PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste management method, enabling proper management of, for example, general wastes of enterprise and refuse of ordinary home by effectively utilizing information about collected wastes by a person discharging the waste, a waste collector, and a local government, a waste management system, a waste management device, and a waste metering device.;SOLUTION: The person discharging the waste can measure mass of the waste. Information about type of the waste and the person discharging the waste can be inputted into the waste metering device. Management of the wastes, promotion of recycle, and reduction of weight of the wastes are performed by utilizing the information making type and mass of the waste transmitted from the waste metering device and the person discharging the waste correspond to each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
