ENCLOSURE SHUTOFF CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR L-SHAPED FORM AND U-SHAPED FORM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To largely reduce costs and a construction period without requiring installation of a temporary bridge and a working platform; and to restrain influence on the environment by providing a construction method of using no heavy machinery, sheet pile and master pile at all, and providing a construction method of carrying out no excavating earth 3.;SOLUTION: The temporary bridge and the working platform are not installed; driving and excavation are not performed by the heavy machinery; and the excavating earth is not carried out. Stairs and a hoist are arranged on the upstream/downstream side of a pier. An L-shaped form and a U-shaped form are immersed in a surrounding riverbed, and are enclosed. Waling is installed on a vertical wall of the L-shaped form and the U-shaped form, and a strut and a brace are installed from the pier. An impervious sheet is stretched over the inner-outer periphery of the L-shaped form and U-shaped form. A groove is excavated on the riverbed around the pier. The excavating earth is loaded on a bottom plate of the L-shaped form and the U-shaped form. Water in the groove is drained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
