摘要
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of coupling relatively small steel-frame columns and beams to each other by a mechanical joint using a tenon and cotter pins.;SOLUTION: According to the method, an axially extending mortice 5 is formed in an end face of each of the upper and lower columns 1, 2 to be coupled to each other, and a cotter pin hole 6 is penetrated in each column in a direction perpendicular to the mortice. Then mortices 8, 9 which are centered on the mortice in each column are formed in the respective beams 3, 4 so as to have a bore almost equal to an outer diameter of composite eccentric rings 11, 12. Next a lower end of the tenon 7 is fitted into the mortice in the lower column so as to assume an erect position, and the tenon is fixed by the cotter pin 10. Further the mortices 8, 9 formed in the beams are fitted onto the tenon 7, and the outer diameter portion 11 of the composite eccentric rings, which is dimensionally adjusted beforehand so as to absorb an erection error or the like of a center-to-center dimension of the columns, and the inner diameter portion 12 having the bore almost equal to an outer diameter of the tenon are combined together, and they are fitted into a gap between the tenon and the mortice. Furthermore the mortice formed in the upper column is fitted onto an upper end of the tenon 7, and then the tenon is fixed by the cotter pin 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
