PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a conventional touch panel type operating device is inconvenient since it is necessary for a user to manually make a window part successively display necessary information by using a scroll key or the like, and the display configurations of information to be displayed at a display operating part are the same regardless of the opening condition or closing condition of a cover body in the case of a conventional touch panel type operating device.;SOLUTION: This touch panel type operating device is provided with: a display operating part 14 for inputting an operation and for displaying the information by touching it with an input pen or the finger; a detector 12 being one example of the opening/closing condition detecting means, a communication control part 13 for executing communication control with a hot water unit 2 to be controlled; an ROM 30 being one example of a storage means for storing the operation program of the touch panel type operating device 1 or the operation input range or display configurations in the display operating part 14; and a control part 11 for controlling the whole touch panel type operating device 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
