PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool equipment without increasing the power consumption of a major air conditioner more than that required. PSOLUTION: This double floor installation type air conditioner installed in a double floor space for air conditioning the inside of a room in which a floor part is formed in a double floor having a floor surface 2 and a double floor panel 3 disposed above the floor surface 2. A plurality of ventilation holes led to the inside of the room are formed in the double floor panel. An air conditioner body 1 comprises a refrigerator having an evaporator and a condenser and a fan blowing cool air generated from the evaporator. The cool air from the evaporator is blown into the double floor by driving the fan to send it to necessary portions through the ventilation holes in the double floor panel 3.
