High temperature aerobic fermentation treatment equipment for solid organic waste

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for processing an organic material, effective for proceeding the fermentation and getting a processed product fermented to an almost completely fermented state by controlling the water content of the material in a fermentation tank to a level optimum for fermentation. SOLUTION: An organic material is aerobically fermented to form a compost by the present apparatus. The water content of the material in a fermentation tank 1 is controlled and maintained within the range suitable for fermentation by controlling the operation of a fan 17. As an alternative, the water content is controlled by controlling the operation of a blowing fan 14 for the cooling of a heat-exchanger 13 based on the temperature of air exhausted from the heat-exchanger 13.
