PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize economical distribution construction for a communication cable having simple and superior workability.;SOLUTION: When the communication cable 1 such as an optical fiber cable is distributed and laid in a building 12, a sheath pipe 2 for the communication cable having moderate flexibility is passed through the inside of a drainpipe 10 (or a gutter), and the communication cable 1 is passed through in the sheath pipe 2 for the communication cable. Accordingly, for example, when the communication cable 1 is extracted from the drain pipe 10 (or the gutter) via a branch joint, the communication cable can be laid, without imparting drastic bendings which may adversely affect the transmission loss.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
