PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entry and despatch method for automatic warehouse and an automatic warehouse using the entry and despatch method capable of easily improving entry and despatch operation.;SOLUTION: A cargo stored in an area 1 is searched out of cargos waiting for dispatch in the historical order in the step S1, and a cargo waiting for entry is searched in the historical order in the step S2. In the step 6, the searched cargo waiting for entry is transported from an entry station to an empty storage section 5 in the area 1 to be entered therein by a stacker crane 4, and the searched cargo waiting for despatch is transported from the area 1 and despatched to a despatch station 9. A cargo stored in an area 2 is searched out of the cargos waiting for despatch in the historical order in the step S8, and a cargo waiting for entry is searched in the historical order in the step S9. In the step 13, the searched cargo waiting for entry is entered in an empty storage section 5 in the area 2, and the searched cargo waiting for despatch is despatched from the area 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
