PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a significant area in an image, to automatically acquire eye information including the direction of a visual line and the other information and to relate the eye information and the other information to a photographed image. PSOLUTION: In the camera system having an image photographing system for photographing an image of a scene in an image photographing sequence and an eye monitoring system for determining the eye information including the direction of the visual line of the eyes of a user of the camera system, a controller stores the determined eye information in the image photographing sequence and relates the stored eye information to the scene image.
