TREATMENT OF WASTE PICKLING LIQUID CONTAINING IRON AND METHOD OF PRODUCING IRON OXIDE (III)

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method by which the optimum acidity and the concentration of iron in a pickling tank liquid in a production line are maintained and total resource utilization is secured. PSOLUTION: In the treatment method, sodium hydroxide is added into a waste acid containing iron to adjust a value of pH, sodium hydroxide and air are added into the pH-adjusted solution in another tank to cause chemical reaction, the mixture is exposed to ultraviolet ray from an ultraviolet circuit in an photo-oxidation process and finally iron oxide (III) is separated in the solution by magnetic separation. A waste acid tank storing the industrial cleaning solution containing iron and the treating solution, a pH value adjusting apparatus connected to a waste acid recovery apparatus and connected to a pipe line for adding solidum hydroxide, a photo-oxidation reaction apparatus having the ultraviolet circuit for performing the photo-oxidation process and a magnetic separation apparatus for separating iron oxide (III) in the solution are included.
