PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance security on communication by materializing user authentication without depending on information specifying a user.;SOLUTION: A client 1 ciphers a public key at the client side and information on user registration by means of a public key at a server side and transmits them. An authentication server 5 obtains the public key at the client side by decryption processing by means of a secret key at the server side for the user registration and ciphers a certification by means of the public key at the client side for transmission to the client 1. The authentication server 5 generates a common key through the verification of the certificate replied from the client 1 and shares the scommon key with the client 1.
