PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stability in operating a load, and to provide convenience in controlling a voltage by performing independent control for each electrode. PSOLUTION: This power control unit includes a first switching unit that connects the positive output terminals of a fuel cell stacks and DC-DC converter for a battery parallel to the negative terminal, and the other terminal to an inverter; a second switching unit that connects the negative output terminals of the inverter and the DC-DC converter parallel to the negative terminal, and the other terminal to the negative output terminal of the fuel cell stacks; a control unit that controls a voltage in such a way as to be supplied to a motor from the fuel cell stack or the battery by switching the contact point of the first and second switching units; and a diode that is connected to the positive output terminal of the fuel cell stacks in the forward direction to break the inflow of the counter electromotive force from the motor into the fuel cell stacks.
