LOW-SULFUR KEROSENE HAVING IMPROVED OXIDATION STABILITY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low-sulfur kerosene, affording clean waste gas, affording a high yield, having excellent oxidation stability and suitable for long-term stockpiling and to provide a method for producing the kerosene.;SOLUTION: The kerosene is characterized as adding 2-20 mg/L of an antioxidant to kerosene base having a 95 vol% distillation temperature within the range of 236-254°C and ≤10 mass ppm of sulfur content. The method for producing the kerosene having the 95 vol.% distillation temperature within the range of 236-254°C and ≤10 mass ppm of sulfur content comprises subjecting a straight-run kerosene fraction obtained by atmospheric distillation of crude oil to a hydrodesufurization treatment and then mixing 75-100 vol.% of the kerosene fraction subjected to the hydrodesufurization treatment with another hydrocarbon fraction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
