PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression tester for a wet powder capable of simply evaluating the compression characteristics such as viscosity, rheological characteristics or the like of the wet powder.;SOLUTION: The compression tester for the wet powder is equipped with a positionally held lower pestle 3, a lower pestle load meter 2 for measuring the load applied to the lower pestle 3, an upper pestle 6 provided so as to be made movable up and down with respect to the lower pestle 3, an upper pestle load meter 8 for measuring the load applied to the upper pestle 6, a cylinder 4 which is provided between the upper and lower pestles 6 and 3 and in which wet powder 9 is charged so as to be compressible between the upper and lower pestles 6 and 3, a cylinder wall load meter 5 which is provided to the wall surface of the cylinder 4 to measure the load applied to the wall surface and an upper pestle displacement meter 10 for measuring the displacement in an up and down direction of the pestle 6. This tester is constituted so as to measure the load on the lower pestle, the load on the upper pestle, the load on the wall and the displacement of the upper pestle while compressing the wet powder 9 by making the pestle 6 movable toward the pestle 3 in such a state that the pestle 6 is inserted in the cylinder 4 in which the pestle 3 is mounted and the wet powder 9 is charged.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
