VIBRATION CHARACTERISTIC ESTIMATING METHOD OF SPINDLE MOTOR, VIBRATION CHARACTERISTIC DISPLAYING METHOD, DESIGNING METHOD, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase estimation precision in the vibration characteristics of a spindle motor, to chart a result for facilitating analysis, and to improve efficiency in design and production.;SOLUTION: A disk, a rotor, and a base plate are included for handling as elastic bodies, the equation of motion of the rotor is formulated, electromagnetic excitation force is calculated, and a vibration response is calculated, thus estimating the vibration characteristics precisely. The result is displayed by a Campbel chart to facilitate the analysis. The technique is applied to a process from design to manufacture, the efficiency in the design is increased, and efficient manufacture is enabled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
