PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method enabling attainment of a decorative inorganic molded article having high design properties and mechanical strength and being excellent in water resistance, heat resistance, fire retardance and flame resistance with high productivity. ;SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of a decorative inorganic molded article comprises, for instance, a process of obtaining a curing composition containing an acid metal phosphate of 100 pts.wt. and a curing agent therefor of 80-200 pts.wt., a process of obtaining a molding material by compounding the curing composition of 100 pts.wt. with an inorganic reinforcement of 5-100 pts.wt., a process of obtaining a semi-cured material by molding the molding material in a desired shape and a process wherein a sheet-like decorative material constituted mainly of thermosetting resin and the semi-cured material are laminated and then heated in the laminated state to complete the cure of the semi-cured material and also the decorative material is integrated with the semi-cured material after the cure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
