Monitoring of soluble endothelial protein C receptor levels in anticoagulant therapy

Assays soluble endothelial protein C receptor according to the invention (sEPCR) is useful for monitoring a hypercoagulable state and thrombin effective level. Therefore, assays for sEPCR is useful for monitoring the effect of ongoing anticoagulant therapy. sEPCR ELISA assay is particularly useful for this purpose. Also the state of hypercoagulability in normal individuals or patients, it may be identified by such an assay.
