PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum contract menu of an electricity rate on the basis of a past usage result of power and electric energy.;SOLUTION: This electric power usage optimization proposal system 1 comprises a power measurement and recording device 10 for measuring and recording the usage result of power and electric energy in a fixed period in the past; and an electric power usage analysis device 20 for calculating the electricity rate based on each of a plurality of electricity rate contract menus in the same usage condition as the usage result of power and electric energy in a past fixed period recorded by the device 10, and selecting the optimum contract menu with the lowest electricity rate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
