PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity of previous registration of a control code of an apparatus to be controlled to a portable telephone terminal, and to enable control of any electronic apparatuses containing existing electronic apparatuses, in remote control system wherein the portable telephone terminal or the like is used also as a remote control apparatus.;SOLUTION: The portable telephone terminal 1 having a remote control function, and the apparatus 2 to be controlled which is subjected to remote control with the portable telephone terminal 1, are installed. The portable telephone terminal 1 is provided with a key input 13 which serves both as primary operation of the portable telephone terminal and as remote control operation, a storage part 14 for storing a remote control controlling code of the apparatus 2 which code is downloaded from center equipment 3, and a control code transmission part 16 which transmits the remote control controlling code to the apparatus 2 in accordance with operation of the key input 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
