PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high viewing rate program information notice system that prevents a user from missing a program when the user does not start a receiver or the user is not located near the receiver.;SOLUTION: The user uses the high viewing rate program information notice system, which is provided with: a viewing monitor means for monitoring viewing and video recording by the user; a viewing information storage means for storing viewing information of a program viewed by the user and monitored by the viewing monitor means; a high viewing rate program analogizing means for analogizing a high viewing rate program which is considered to be user's next viewing on the basis of the viewing information; and a program notice means for noticing an external device about it when it is discriminated that the user dose not view the high viewing rate program on the basis of the viewing information. Thus, a terminal employing the system and viewed by the user ordinarily in the home informs the external device possessed by the user about the high viewing rate program analogized on the basis of the viewing results of the user so as to prevent the user from missing the program.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
