PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon fiber cord cutting mechanism automatically cutting a carbon fiber cord.;SOLUTION: This carbon fiber cord cutting mechanism is provided with a cutting base 4 having a blade receiver surface 4a in parallel to the extending direction of the carbon fiber cord W, a rotary blade base 5 approaching/separating from the vertical direction to the blade receiver surface, a swinging arm 9 having one end part journaled to the rotary blade base and the other end directing to the cutting base, a first stopper mounted on the rotary blade base, abutting on one side of a swinging arm in a state where the projection position of the other end part on the blade receiver surface is closer to one side of the carbon fiber cord than that of the one end part, and obstructing the further swinging in one side, a second stopper 12 mounted on the rotary blade base, abutting on the other side part of the swinging arm in a state where the projection position of the other end part on the edge receiver surface is in the other side of the carbon fiber cord, and constantly pushing and energizing the swinging arm to the one side, and the rotary blade 14 journaled to the other end of the swinging arm and projecting one part of the edge from the opposite surface to the blade receiver surface in the rotary blade base.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
