PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resource allocation method for allotting resources effectively while Quality of Service (QoS) relative to priority is guaranteed.;SOLUTION: In the resource allocation method, resources necessary for communication of a base station 11 with a mobile station 13 is allotted in a radio packet communication system 10. The resource allocation method includes: a reserved signal transmitting step of transmitting a reserved signal, which includes priority information of communication, by the mobile station 13 and receiving the reserved signal by the base station 11; a reserved time period setting step of setting a longer time as a reserved time period for resource allocation when the priority based on the priority information included in the reserved signal is high, as compared with a case of lower priority; and a resource allocation reserving step of reserving the resource allocation for communication of the base station 11 with a mobile station 13 which transmitted the reserved signal when there are resources which can be assigned to a reserved time region defined by the reserved time period set at the reserved time period setting step from the prescribed reservation starting time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
